The journey of Sujay PowerTrans was initiated by a visionary leader- Mr. Jaydeep Modi- who began the company’s operations in 1994. At the time, he did not have the requisite technological and financial resources at his disposal, but only a vision to transform his little initiative into something gigantic.

Today, Sujay Power Trans stands as an ultra-modern manufacturing unit with a fleet of over Twenty five computerized, numerically controlled, and automated machines that are creating top-notch precision components for the machines that are meant to change the future.

Our dedicated team of experts possesses the perfect blend of experience and skill and the vision our leader inculcated. We are a staunch advocate of the Make In India initiative by the Government of India and aim to manufacture every machinery and its components indigenously.

With the arrival of Sujay Modi, the son of Mr. Jaydeep Modi, our firm has been revolutionized with a more holistic and modern approach. It has made a paradigm shift with more focus on design and prototype development to achieve the best outcomes.

The history of dynamic and progressive thinking

1994. Foundation of Sujay Engineers

Mr. Jaydeep Modi, a visionary leader, began operations of Sujay Engineers with limited technological and financial resources at his disposal.

1999. 20 Conventional Lathes

Within 5 years, Mr. Jaydeep Modi transformed the company and achieved a milestone of establishing 20 conventional lathes. Hats off to this expertise and unflinching nature.

2001. First CNC Machine

Keeping up with the industrial and technological boom, the company bought its first horizontal Computerized Numerical Controlled turning centre machine.

2010. Shop Floor Expansion

The company established an additional unit of 12000 sq. ft. in one of the most prestigious industrial units in India.

2014. ISO 9001:2015 Certification

We take pride in being ISO 9001:2015 certified, recognizing Quality Management System (QMS) by the esteemed TUV Rheinland Academy.

2015. Paint Booth Establishment

An in-house spray paint facility was set up, as per the international railway standards.

2019. Young Leader Joins

The son of our founder, Mr. Sujay Modi joined the company. With his inclination towards design for manufacturing and design for assembly, the company is growing into a well-grounded partner of industries throughout the process of prototype development.

2020. New Facility

With the vision of developing into a one-stop manufacturing solutions provider for the power transmission and the railway industries, the management of Sujay Engineers inaugurated a new world-class facility of 40000 sq. ft.

2021. Founded Sujay Powertrans India Pvt. Ltd.

The management decided to form a new firm called Sujay Powertrans India Private Limited, to carry the local as well as the overseas business of Sujay Engineers ahead.

2023. Amalgamation of firms

Sujay Engineers and Sujay Powertrans India Pvt. Ltd. unify to form SUJAY. With this association, the brand continues to voice out precision, stability, trustworthiness, integrity, and growth.

Our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Our SOP

We have an extensive Standard Operating Procedure for every item we manufacture, which includes-

Study bill of materials
Study drawings of individual parts, datasheets, process instructions, and QAP requirements
Create 3D model parts with CAD software
Procure raw materials
Analyze raw materials using NDT and other techniques
Prepare a manufacturing process sheet for every part
Design and manufacture work-holding fixtures
Create a CNC program
Manufacture parts with cutting-edge machine tools
Conduct heat and surface treatment
Inspect the product in multiple stages
Undertake the anti-corrosion coating application along with proper packaging and deployment for assembly.
